All courses and on-site training detailed below are available free of charge to governing bodies who have bought into the:
Bury Governor Training Group Agreement, “Governor Training”.
For governors who have not bought into this package, charges are as follows:

You will be impressed by the centres' wide range of quality training and conference facilities, with all AV/ICT equipment which they provide at no extra cost.
Development Centre Conference rooms have been designed to meet
your every need - featuring a lectern housing a computer with internet access, remote powerpoint slide presenter and remote mouse if required; Video,
DVD and CD players all linked to a sound system and ceiling mounted LCD projectors.
Development Centre facilities include:
- Large Conference Suite
- Conference and Meeting Rooms
- Laptops available with wireless internet access and printing facilities on request
for use with participants - LCD Projectors in each room
- Flip Chart Stands
- Interactive whiteboards are available
Business services which include:
- Photocopying
- Fax
- Telephone
- Message handling
- A fully equipped print room is available
- Assistance with portering equipment
and resources - Free car parking for over 200 vehicles including designated disabled car parking adjacent to the building
- Fully accessible single-storey building with accessible facilities
- Disabled Accessible and meets the Disabled Disability Discrimination Act
- Induction loop systems are available on request
- A flexible catering service is available
- Chilled water is available

Directions To Seedfield Site from M66 (Northbound)
Leave the M66 at Junction 2 (A58 Bury/Heywood Sign)
Remain in the middle lane down the sliproad to the traffic lights at the roundabout. Take the first exit left, remain in outside lane ready to turn right at the “Seven Stars Pub” into Wash Lane. Continue along Wash Lane through one set of traffic lights at the crossroads. At the next set of traffic lights (Old Blue Bell Pub on the right), cross straight through the junction into Taylor Street (Boro Bathrooms on the left).
Continue along Taylor Street over the mini roundabout, round the bend to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Walmersley Road. Continue for approximately one mile. Turn left down Parkinson Street. The Centre is located through the gates at the end of the street.
